Paris Interview by Nicholas Greenfield

What city will you be talking about?

What’s the cheapest way to enjoy this city at night?

Grab a €2 bottle of Roche Mazet Cabernet Sauvignon from Monoprix and head to either Canal Saint Martin or Pont-Neuf to join the young, the trendy, and the extremely Parisian Youth of this wonderful city.

What’s your favorite restaurant here? What’s so special about it?

Restaurant Shalini on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis. Perhaps not the best Indian food in Paris, but the service is the best in the world as are the mango lassis

What’s your favorite thing to do on a warm Sunday morning in this city?

Head to Parc des Buttes-Chaumont to escape the tourist masses and see what a real Parisian Park looks like.

What were some of the hidden gems in that city? Why?

The Wall pub in Place de la Contreacarpe. Not only the cheapest tap beer in Paris (which is saying something), but one of the prettiest squares in the city.

Anything else you want to add?

Get a Velib. Even if you have to beg, borrow or steal one, there is literally no other way to see this city than on the back of one of the public bikes. Do it, do it now.
